Accompanying Program for Full-day/ Half-day Tour

 

Accompanying Program is scheduled on the 10th and 11th of August, during the Symposium (9-12 August 2010). Our “catch phrase” for this tour is; "Try and feel Kyoto".

 

1. Aug. 10th: Tea Ceremony and Kimono Wearing experience and Sightseeing around Horikawa-Imadegawa Area (Full Day tour)

 

Itinerary: Departing Kyoto International Conference Center(ICC Kyoto) at 9:30 – (by Taxi) – Arriving the Urasenke Tradition of Tea (Tea Ceremony experience starts 10:00, and free activity after 11:00) – Lunch at 12:00 (Japanese Restaurant) – Arriving Nishijin Textile Center at 13:00 (Visit Center and Kimono Wearing experience for 3 hours) －(by Taxi) －Back to Kyoto at17:00

Number of Participants: Minimum of 10 people ~ Maximum of 20 people

2. Aug. 11th: Calligraphy Art experience & Sightseeing around Higashiyama area (Half-day Tour).

Itinerary: Departing Kyoto International Conference Center(ICC Kyoto) at 13:00 – (by Taxi) － Arriving the Kyoto City International Foundation at 13:45 (Calligraphy Art experience start at 13:45 approx. 3 hours) –（by Taxi）- Arriving the Kodai-ji Zen Temple / The Garden Oriental Kyoto at 17:00 (Free time up until banquet hour) – Tour dismissed at site

Number of Participants: Minimum of 10 people ~ Maximum of 20 people
